A quick review of Crystals and Energy healing when it comes to science.

You might be wondering if crystals and energy healing are really a thing, and how and why energy vibrations are emitted from a crystal, a Reiki healer’s hands, or through sound healing and simple activities such as yoga and meditation.

So, let’s just take a quick look at what science has to say about specifically crystals and energy healing, in the form of energy, frequency, and vibration.

We’re all just energy.

A crystal is made up of atoms and molecules in specific placements, this molecular arrangement determines their physical appearance and chemical properties. Looking at science, atoms are the nucleus or primary units of energy. The particles in each crystal vibrate or resonate at unique frequencies that can be interpreted by you as qualities or feelings as you work with them.

Nikola Tesla said that the secrets of the universe were cloaked in vibration, energy, and frequency. Many years later (I believe it was in 1905), Albert Einstein created his relativity theory, explaining the relationship between matter and energy. About a century later, Laurent Lellouch, a French physicist, made calculations based on Einstein's relativity theory to demonstrate mass conversion to energy at a subatomic level.

Marcel Vogel (1917-1991) a spiritual scientist, is believed to be the first scientist to provide proof of the power of crystals. He studied and worked with crystals and observed that they could amplify thoughts and feelings. He concluded that this resulted from the banding of the molecules in its structure, allowing them to emit vibrations at a constant frequency. Vogel also worked in depth with clear quartz to discover its metaphysical power for meditation and therapeutic purposes

Every living being and every object, like crystals, is made up of atoms and molecules. Humans also vibrate at our own frequencies. Your personal frequencies determine your moods, your energy levels, and your well-being. When you are happy, you vibrate at a higher frequency, which serves as a "de-stressor" and promotes healing and vitality, and when you’re sad or ill, you emit lower frequencies.

Vibration, frequency, and resonance.

When you are close to a specific crystal, its specific vibrational frequency affects you.

Vibrational energy, frequencies, and the concept of resonance are all part of the energy healing process which includes areas like yoga, Qi Gong, Reiki, Meditation, Feldenkrais, EFT, Acupressure, Sound healing, and crystal healing, to name a few are based on.

These vibrational frequencies can stimulate electrical nerve impulses and channel energy through your energy pathways (chakras). Energy healing as you can obtain from crystal vibration can affect cellular, glandular, or tissue metabolism. These vibrations positively impact your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

Each crystal has a unique vibrational frequency that works well with specific properties for the mind, body, and soul. Some crystals work well on their own, and others work better when amplified by other stones.

And there is science behind it!

Did you know that there is a whole field of science dedicated to studying the power of crystals, called crystallography? This area of science studies the arrangement and bonding of atoms in crystalline solids and examines the geometric structure of crystal lattices. It is one of the most multidisciplinary sciences that brings frontier areas of different research together. This is a well-respected area of science that has (directly or indirectly) ensured 29 Nobel prizes.

So, there is no denying that energy healing is an actual thing and that crystals, due to their specific properties, are a powerful tool to work with to enhance or change your personal vibrational frequency.
